Who's drinking their recommended water intake?!

Did you know? … Glucose cannot leave the body without a water molecule attached via urination. Thirst is your body’s cue for help in removing excess glucose. Drinking water and going to the bathroom are PLAN A to get glucose out of your system.

Plan B? Fat storage. Yep.

So basically, if you don’t want to be inconvenienced by frequent bathroom visits you are choosing fat storage. Drink your water!

Not many people crave water, because we have become so conditioned to crave things with artificial sweeteners, synthetic caffeine and other toxic substances to get us through the day, and quick craving fixes. Don’t worry, I found something that will have you craving it soon, and getting your body the nourishment it needs!

Hint: By adding natural fruits and flavors to your water it helps you drink more. Drinking 1/2 your weight in water daily helps keep your body flushed and hydrated.

Do you take a multivitamin daily, Did you know?

We know that our food choices are a huge part of our inner health. But what we put inside, shows through on the outside! Feeding those cravings doesn’t just stop at our taste buds. Here are some staggering statistics: Fast food sales are up 2000% since 1981! And only 10% of Americans eat the recommended amount of fruits and veggies daily! We live in an age of medical breakthroughs, but it seems that we are not getting any healthier.
We are overfed and undernourished. Most people take a multivitamin, but there are SO many multi’s to choose from! How do you know which ones truly work? How do you know that your multi is giving your body the nutrients it needs? The truth is that many multivitamin formulas on the market today use cheap forms that are not bioavailable–meaning they can’t be used by the body.
Enter XFactor Plus. XFactor Plus offers at least 100% of the recommended daily amount of 19 essential vitamins and minerals, in bioavailable forms that your body can actually absorb (like hard-to-find methylated folate and methylated B12). Add in over 50 naturally occurring trace minerals, a complete, bioactive B vitamin complex, and gut-protecting polyphenols from our Microbiome Activating Complex, and you’ve got a one-of-a-kind multi that fills in nutritional gaps, to help you stay healthier and feel better. I love that you will not find artificial forms of vitamins and minerals in this multi! The iron comes in the form of New Zealand Black Currant, Aloe to help us heal and absorb up to 300% more, and folate instead of folic acid! The X Factor Plus also contains Thiamine, which is absolutely beneficial for so many of us that suffer from thyroid disorders! Those deficiencies we have- xfactor is the next step after cleaning up our gut!

Cravings for sugar and salt?

Have you ever seen a picture of something, or had a sudden food thought cross your mind and you just can’t seen to concentrate on anything else? (Maybe this picture has you craving something right now?!) Sometimes we aren’t even hungry, right? We just want THAT something! Chances are, you’re pretty familiar with food cravings, and the drive to quickly solve that craving.

Well cravings aren’t the same thing as hunger-in fact, they couldn’t be more different. Hunger is controlled by the stomach and is a survival mechanism, cravings are controlled by the brain, and are all about how your body is communicating with you. It’s not always easy to listen to our body’s biology.

The four main causes of cravings are dehydration, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalances, and emotional stresses. Those four causes are largely because 80% of our grocery store is made up with foods we should not be consuming and are easy to get hooked on! Did you know that recent PET imagine of the brain is showing that sugar is more addictive than cocaine?? And it is in everything it seems! Giving in to those false fixes, may temporary alleviate the craving, but it won’t get to the root of the issue!

Have you ever stopped to try to tell the difference between real hunger and a craving?
